Living La Vida Natural!

I wish I could say that the original reason for my natural crossing came about because I was inspired, enlightened and wanted to set an example for the world.

While I have nothing but admiration for people like that, the driving force for my transition to a more natural approach in the areas of food, health and nutrition came about because I was sick.

I tried "everything", but nothing else had results that I could count on.
Getting to the root of my health issues, by getting back to nature was the only thing that helped.

You may read or watch some of my posts and think "Nice, I think I'll try that".
I'm ecstatic to have given you the idea or repeated it to you from the universe.

If you are anything like me 15 years ago, the thoughts "that is too much work" or "I could/would never go through all of that trouble" might cross your mind instead; and that is OK!

None of the ancient or modern wonders were built in a day.

Five years ago I could barely make boxed muffins; now I make bread at least weekly in my home.

The good news is that every tiny step you make towards getting back to nature will improve your life.

It could be as simple as exchanging real sugar for fake sugars, and then working your way back down to sucanat, coconut sugar or even (GASP) no sugar!

It could be a spray bottle of vinegar and a shaker of baking soda in your kitchen for cleaning instead of bleach.

Wherever you are on your journey, I invite you to think of or adopt ways that you can take one step towards a healthier lifestyle.

Wishing you the best!
